Cleopatra's goals were for Egypt were to win back lands they once held. Cleopatra sought help from Julius Caesar because Rome held the strongest power in the Mediterranean. After their war with Rome, Antony and Cleopatra both ended up committing suicide because the Romans declared war against them both. Cleopatra was a good ruler in Egypt because she sacrificed most of her life and romantic emotions just to win her nations land back.
